At The Whimsy Box, we curate delightful mystery boxes designed to bring joy and creativity. Since each box is a surprise experience, we do not offer refunds or returns based on personal preference. However, if there is an issue with your order, we’re happy to assist!
1. Returns Eligibility
We accept returns under the following conditions:
- Defective or Damaged Items: If your item arrives damaged or faulty, you may request a return within 7 days of delivery.
- Incorrect Items Received: If we sent the wrong item, we will arrange for a replacement or refund.
⚠️ What We Do NOT Accept for Returns & Refunds:
- Change of Mind or Personal Preference: Since our products are mystery-based, refunds will not be issued if you simply don’t like an item.
- Opened or Used Items (Unless Faulty): Items must be returned in their original condition.
- Sale or Clearance Items: These are final sale.
2. How to Initiate a Return
To request a return for an eligible item:
- Email support@whimsybox.co.za with:
- Your order number
- A clear photo of the item (if defective or incorrect)
- A brief description of the issue
- We will review your request and respond within 3 business days.
- If approved, we will provide return shipping instructions.
3. Refund & Replacement Policy
- Defective, damaged, or incorrect items → Full refund or replacement (including return shipping costs).
- Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to your original payment method.
4. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to replace an item, you may return it (if eligible) and place a new order.
5. Shipping Costs
- If the return is due to an error on our part (damaged, defective, incorrect item), we will cover return shipping costs.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs in all other cases.
